Membership Terms

Operator: Club Purradise LLC, Fort White, Florida (“Club Purradise,” “we,” “us”)

By joining Club Purradise, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They’re short, and the guests insist.

1. What membership is

Club Purradise membership is a monthly subscription that gives you access to member benefits (“Purrks”), rewards, voting on club projects, and participation in our adoption community.

“Staff” is a membership title, not a job. Members are called staff, virtual staff, or by rank titles like Organizer or Chef Village. These titles are part of our brand. Membership does not make you an employee, contractor, volunteer, agent, or representative of Club Purradise, and you aren’t paid for anything you do as a member.

Dues are not donations. Membership dues are payment for a subscription service. They aren’t charitable contributions and aren’t tax-deductible.

2. Ranks and billing

  • Organizer: $10 a month
  • Crew Chief: $25 a month
  • Section Chief: $50 a month
  • Chef Saison: $100 a month
  • Chef Village: $250 a month
  • Monthly only. Dues are billed every month on your start date, and your membership renews automatically until you cancel.
  • Cancel anytime by emailing catcierge@clubpurradise.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month.
  • No refunds. Dues aren’t refundable, in whole or in part, for any reason, including partial months, unused benefits, or cancellation.
  • Failed payments: if a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 7 days, your membership ends.
  • Price changes: we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before your dues change.

3. Changing ranks

You can move up or down a rank at any time. When you change ranks:

  • your reward clock restarts, and you receive the new rank’s Welcome Kit;
  • your Staff Number stays the same;
  • your seniority continues, because you haven’t left; and
  • if you move down, you lose any benefit the new rank doesn’t include. That means an AdvoCat sponsorship ends (the guest stays in our care), and unused free nights from the higher rank end. Your banked votes stay with you.

4. Rewards and Purrks

  • Rewards come on a schedule counted from your start date. The schedule for each rank is on the Join The Staff page.
  • Everything is opt-in. You’re never required to share, vote, attend, or claim a reward. Opting out never affects your good standing.
  • Active members only. You must be an active member in good standing to use any reward, benefit, Purrk, or vote.
  • Claim anytime while active. Earned rewards you haven’t claimed wait for you as long as your membership is active.
  • Reward values are estimates. Any stated reward values are approximate retail estimates, not a guarantee, and depend on rewards being claimed. Rewards have no cash value.
  • When membership ends, everything ends. Every benefit, reward, Purrk, banked vote, and unused free night ends when your membership ends, claimed or not. They have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
  • Rejoining starts fresh. If you leave and come back, your reward clock and your seniority start over from zero.
  • Physical rewards ship to the member at the address on file. Keeping that address current is your responsibility. Sizes, colors, and designs may change based on availability.
  • Staff Numbers are assigned in the order members join, are never reissued, and don’t transfer.

5. Voting (“DemoCatic”)

  • Each $10 of monthly dues equals one vote, banked every month.
  • Votes stack. Banked votes never reset or expire while you remain a member. Save them as long as you like and spend them on the ballots you choose. Votes you spend on a ballot are used; votes you don’t spend stay banked.
  • Votes decide the outcome of member projects only. They don’t give you ownership, equity, profit share, or any control over the management, finances, or operations of Club Purradise LLC.
  • Club Purradise scopes and prices every project, and keeps final authority over anything involving safety, animal welfare, legal compliance, or budget.
  • Members who helped fund a project are listed on the Wall of Fame under a display name of their choice.

6. Guests and AdvoCats

Guests are not your property. All guests (cats) remain in the care and custody of Club Purradise until they’re formally adopted.

Personal AdvoCat (Chef Saison and Chef Village). Your dues support one guest’s food and shelter, and you act as that guest’s virtual foster. Sponsorship gives you no ownership, custody, or medical decision-making rights. All sponsored guests live on Club Purradise grounds. Each guest has only one Personal AdvoCat at a time.

Adoption of any guest goes through our standard adoption process. If you adopt your own sponsored guest, the adoption fee is waived.

7. Visits

  • Free visit nights and member discounts on paid visits depend on availability and must be booked in advance.
  • Free nights earned on your reward clock must be used within 12 months of being earned. Unused free nights don’t carry over and have no cash value.
  • All visitors, members and their guests alike, follow property rules and must sign the Club Purradise Visitor Waiver & Release before each stay or on-site event.
  • Club Purradise may limit or reschedule visits for the safety or welfare of our guests, staff, or property.

8. Community and conduct

  • Our member Facebook groups and events follow our community guidelines, posted in each group.
  • We may suspend or end the membership of anyone who harasses others, endangers animals, misrepresents Club Purradise, or breaks these terms. If we end a membership for cause, benefits end immediately, and no refund is given.
  • Speaking for the club: members may share our content, but may not claim to speak for Club Purradise, collect money on its behalf, or arrange adoptions outside our official process.

9. Content and names

  • You may share Club Purradise guest content for promoting adoptions and the club.
  • You choose the display name we show on the Wall of Fame and in member spaces, and you can change it at any time.

10. Changes to the program

We may update ranks, rewards, Purrks, and these terms as the club grows. We’ll notify members of material changes at least 30 days in advance. Staying a member after a change takes effect means you accept it.

11. At your own risk

Club Purradise is an at-your-own-risk club.

By applying for membership, you, to the fullest extent permitted by law, waive and release Club Purradise LLC, its owners, staff, and affiliates from all liability for any injury, illness, loss, or damage to you or your property while you’re on the grounds of Club Purradise or taking part in any club event or activity, including claims arising from negligence.

You understand that Club Purradise is a working rural property home to many animals, and that the risks include scratches, bites, allergic reactions, uneven terrain, weather, and wildlife. You accept these risks voluntarily, and you’re responsible for any guests you bring.

12. Disputes

Any dispute must be submitted in writing to catcierge@clubpurradise.com so we can respond properly. If no satisfactory resolution is reached, legal remedies may be pursued.
