Our Story

We didn’t set out to build a club. We set out to save cats. The club is how we keep doing it.

Nine Acres and a Lot of Cats

For more than ten years, we’ve run a cat sanctuary in North Florida. What started as taking in the ones nobody else would grew into nine acres and more than 200 free-roaming rescue cats.

Four years ago, we opened the gates to overnight guests. Three glamping tents, 500+ five-star reviews, and a whole lot of people got to camp with the kitties. Along the way, the Washington Post and The Dodo told our story, and one visitor video turned into a whole lot of new friends on TikTok.

but… Love Doesn’t fill the bowls

A sanctuary typically runs on donations, and donations run on generosity. One surgery case can bring in a wave of help. Then the wave goes out, while the kibble bill comes in. We wanted something steadier. Something that didn’t depend on the next crisis to keep the lights on.

So we flipped the whole thing around.

The Cats Are the Guests. You’re the Staff.

Purradise Springs is becoming Club Purradise: an exclusive resort where the cats are the pampered guests and the people are the staff. Members don’t donate. They join.

Every rank gets a Staff Number, purrks on their own clock, and votes that bank every month. Those votes decide what we build next, from a new project on the grounds to the big calls that shape the club.

And every member, at every rank, has the same job: helping our guests find their furever staff.

Where This Goes

Steady membership means steady care, faster adoptions, and room for the next cat who needs a spot. Long term, we want Club Purradise to be a model other sanctuaries can run too. It starts here, with nine acres in Fort White and the staff who show up for the guests.

Every rank votes. Every vote matters. We’d love to have you on staff.
